Kabraso Steps Into Streamline Client F’s Operations

About Coconut Manufacturer, Client F:

Client F is a long-standing provider of coconut products such as desiccated coconut, chips, coconut water, oil, and others in the country.

Having etched themselves in the Philippines’ coconut industry as early as the 1890s, Client F has since remarkably established its entity as the largest processor and leading supplier of coconut ingredients in the local and global food market.

Client F has three (3) manufacturing facilities where processing is operated: San Pablo, Laguna and Davao, Mindanao.

Business Challenges in Client F’s Coconut Operations

1. Documentation and Billing

The previous service provider employed by Client F had hurdled them with issues concerning documentation and billing. This not only affected their working efficiency, but their company practices as well. How the paperwork was handled led to being the major cause of grievance involving Client F’s employees and members.

2. Financial Capability

In addition to their documentation and billing difficulties, another one of Client F’s servicing organizations had a non-compliance issue. This ultimately led to Client F terminating the identified organization’s contract. Due to the drawbacks, Client F’s operations took a hit.

Thus, they sought assistance from a cooperative who could push their operations back on track. It was at this point that Kabraso Multipurpose Cooperative stepped in.

Kabraso’s Proven ‘4-Step Approach’ to Streamlining Coconut Operations

Because Kabraso understands the value Client F puts in serving international customers. This in mind, Kabraso ensured that a thorough implementation of stricter management plans was prioritized. Our approach aimed to maximize the company’s potential with the greatest efficiencies.

Here is Kabraso’s 4-step approach to streamlining Client F’s operations in detail:

Evaluation

Kabraso first intersected with Client F last October 202. From then,  it was a rigorous process of indulging in discussions, documentations and billings. It was a first and necessary step that led to a better understanding of the client’s processes.

Regrouping

Kabraso hired key personnel who had a keen sense of understanding of critical details. The said personnel handled costing and relationship management with Kabraso’s then-prospect, Client F.

Small Group Handling

In order for Kabraso to keep track of its KPIs, the cooperative had to put together 100 teams with three personnel each in such a short time, totaling to 300 manpower required. Thanks to Kabraso’s existing manpower pool, sourcing became a non-problem for them.

Incorporating

Came December, Kabraso was informed the organization was a top consideration. Our cooperative’s quick action, its evaluation of the situation then, and 100% headcount fulfillment  were what cemented our status as a provider in the eyes of Client F. Upon accreditation, Kabraso began implementing its best practices–the necessary changes—as we saw fit; beginning from paperwork down to personnel and teams.

Handling

After diligently observing Kabraso’s performance as a service provider, Client F decided to ultimately go with our organization as a primary vendor. Instead of having three service providers, which were to oversee operations in each of their designated plants, Kabraso was tasked to oversee a second account.

As of writing of this case study, Kabraso is currently working two shifts for the said client.

Currently, Kabraso is the only manpower partner of Client F whom they deemed commendable of being introduced to their board of directors. Accordingly, Kabraso is being considered to accommodate Client F’s plans of going into toll manufacturing, with Kabraso being the one to oversee toll activities.

This is a prospective arrangement established because of Kabraso’s proven service excellence, which Client F stood as primary witness to.
